Menurut Ashok, pantai dan sejumlah hotel di kawasan paling barat Pulau Jawa itu yang biasa dipadati pengunjung pada liburan akhir pekan, juga sepi.

“Pada hari biasa, hotel-hotel di Anyer paling sedikit terisi 60 sampai 70 persen, kemudian hari libur dan akhir pecan bisa sampai 100 persen. Kini cuma terisi 20-30 persen” katanya.

Padahal, Ashok melanjutkan, pada bulan Ramadan ini, para pengelola hotel di Anyer menawarkan berbagai program khusus untuk mendatangkan pengunjung. Penawaran itu di antaranya paket diskon Ramadan, paket meeting dan paket kunjungan biasa,

“Semuanya sudah kami diskon, tapi namanya lagi bulan puasa, banyak orang belum memikirkan liburan,” ujarnya.

Meski kondisi saat ini sedang sepi, namun Ashok yakin menjelang liburan Lebaran pengunjung pantai dan hotel di Anyer akan kembali pulih, karena saat ini sudah ada yang booking  untuk liburan Lebaran

Hal senada yang diakui Didih Hidayat, pengelola Kondominium Lippo Carita. Penginapan kelas elite yang berada di sepanjang bibir Pantai Carita juga. Padahal biasanya dari 600 kamar yang ada, selalu dipenuhi pengunjung.

Untuk mengisi kekosongan kegiatan pada bulan ini, kata Hidayat, banyak pengelola hotel dan resor memanfaatkannya dengan berbagai kegiatan internal seperti pembinaan terhadap para karyawan, perbaikan dan pengecatan gedung.

Pemerintah Banten pada tahun 2009 ini mentargetkan kunjungan wisata sebanyak 24 juta wisatawan domestik. Sedangkan wisatawan asing ditargetkan 117 ribu orang.

The increasing occupancy level hotel room in Anyer have been felt on the long holiday holiday on  july 2009 last month,  where all the hotel room in Anyer and Carita  sold out . Usually the density of visitors will be on touris public beach area of Anyer Carita. Travellers came from Jakarta, Tangerang, Bogor, Lampung, and the other around Banten. the increasing during long holidays between 75- 90 %

On July 2009 long holiday last month, according to  secretary of the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants (PHRI) Agus Santoso, said  that the Patra Jasa Hotel during the holidays to reach 91 percent, 88 percent,  Mambruk hotel, Marina Anyer Hotel 78 percent, 69 percent of Marbella, nuansa bali Hotel 52 percent, and 34 percent for Sanghyang Indah Resort., some visitor doesnt make reservation in advance. They come with families directly and book a room, “said Santos.

The Increasing number of visits to Anyer and Carita, unfortunately is not supported by the road infrastructure along the Cilegon-Anyer-Carita. where many roads to tourist area are damaged and not very comfortable.
