For the construction of the resort, which is harmoniously integrated into the beautiful countryside, only local materials such as sandstone, marble, palemanan, wood and bamboo were used.

Bungalow Ground Plan

All Matahari Beach Resort & Spa bungalows consist of two units and have beautiful marble terraces. They differ in location, size and equipment.

They all have a two-winged handcarved Balinese door through which you enter the bed-living-room. This room is decorated in warm colours with elegant and richly ornamented wooden furniture, a king-size Balinese bed or two separate beds, and a parquet floor.

An individually adjustable remote controlled air-conditioning, an IDD telephone, a minibar, coffee and tea making facilities and a safe are discreetly integrated. Each unit is equipped with a marble bathroom and a small tropical back garden with a shower shaped like a water spouting Balinese dragon. Here our guests can take a shower under the open sky – an unforgettable experience! The Deluxe and Super Deluxe Bungalows are additionally equipped with double wash-basins and bidets. The Super Deluxe Bungalow offers another extra: a private pavilion in the middle of a lotus pond. This 116 sqm luxury one-bedroom villa is on one level, featuring a beautiful dining and living area with direct access to the swimming pool. The kitchen includes all facilities such as gas burner, microwave, refrigerator, etc. The bedroom features a king size bed, ideal for honeymoon couples.

A very private and spacious two-storey two bedroom villa, with an area of 128 sqm on the ground floor and 90 sqm on the first floor.

On the ground floor is the master bedroom, living and dining rooms, with views past the garden to the swimming pool. The fully self-contained kitchen has all the equipment required, such as refrigerator, gas burner, microwave, refrigerator, etc. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, TV 21″, air conditioning, telephone and safety box.

The ensuite bathroom features a natural indoor-outdoor shower and deep marble bathtub large enough for two people to relax and enjoy.

The Oberoi – Luxury Lanais

The thatched-roof lanai rooms are built in clusters of four around a central rock pond. Each lanai rooms has a private terrace and measure 55 – 60 square metres. The bedroom is air conditioned and you can choose either a king-size Balinese bed or Hollywood twin beds. The bathroom is set in a private walled garden and appointed with a marble sunken bath and double vanity counter. Some have separate shower and a walk-in closet with ample storage space.

The Oberoi – Luxury Villas

The thatched-roof villas are havens of peace and privacy. They range in size from 200 square metres to 400 square metres. Each has its own lushly landscaped garden courtyard with a rock pond. A raised pavilion provides a shady retreat for alfresco dining and a private balcony overlooks the beach or gardens. The bedrooms are individually designed with a theme that reflects each villa’s floral name. The floral theme is carried through to the specially commissioned oil paintings and the handcarved wooden headboard of the king-size, four poster Balinese bed. The artworks, and the softly toned fabrics featuring local motifs, reflect the quality and intricacy of Balinese handicrafts. The bedroom décor is further enhanced by opulent marble flooring, and teak wood finishes. The luxurious bathroom feature open-air garden, secluded behind high stone walls.
